Role: Social Media Manager

Job Description: We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This person will be handling a wide range of social media projects for our clients. In this role they will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing social media presence for a variety of our clients. We are searching for someone who is well organized, flexible and creative. Previous advertising, marketing, media, or entertainment work environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Master all things social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, you name it. You will have in-depth knowledge of today’s top social platforms.
  • Drive the organic social content strategy based on current best practices and tactics.
  • Create paid social campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
  • Oversee social media content calendars across all platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Remain fully embedded in all aspects of the campaign from initial plan development through to campaign execution, measurement and optimization
  • Research and analyze the competitive landscape for social media marketing.
  • Engage with both UGC and Content Creators on behalf of the brand
  • Embrace a start-up environment building a brand from the ground up.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media, ideally in a regulated industry (such as biotech or pharmaceutical or financial)
  • College degree (BA or equivalent)
  • Shown proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally
  • Understanding of how paid promotion works on the main social media platforms: Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn. Experience with social media ad technologies is a plus
  • Experience in a client-facing environment leading relationships with a commitment to excellence
  • Highly organized, mindful of deadlines with the ability to multi-task and work under limited supervision
  • Experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team
  • Diligent, well-organized professional who performs with a sense of urgency, and stays on schedule and on budget
  • Outstanding written and oral communications and presentations skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
  • Agency experience in a client-facing role preferred
